Industrial Therapy Solutions’ POPE Testing model is designed to ensure all new hires are placed into positions they can adequately perform without injuring themselves or others - in essence, matching employees to the work environment.
This proactive approach has resulted in significantly reduced OSHA recordable injuries, turnover rate, training costs, administrative time, and most importantly, associated costs for employers. In fact, if POPE testing assists with avoiding just one workers’ compensation claim per year, the program has probably paid for itself.
ITS’ model is 99% effective in worker placement. In one year, over 1,100 tests were performed for a client, with only one musculoskeletal OSHA recordable developing within the first year of hire.
Testing is delivered by a clinician with decision making and interpretation of results overseen by the ITS POPE Testing Administrator, thereby ensuring consistency in pre-employment screening across multiple client locations.
